Makan @ Little Italy

Little Italy has been one of those place which gets filled up to the max whenever I pass by at night. It's packed almost every single time I pass by. So it could only mean 2 things. It's either serves good food or it serves as a good place for tourists to spend money. Last Sunday marked our first anniversary. So we headed over to that little place for some dinner. Of course still got other activities lah.

When we arrived, the place was packed to the max with tourists. So we had to wait a bit to for seating.
They have quite an extensive range of pasta and pizza. It took me awhile to decide what to eat. You know unlike Mcd where I can just go in and say "1 regular double cheese burger. thankeewwww".

So I decided on marinara verdi which basically means seafood platter of some sort I guess. Then choosing the pasta was a bit of headache too. So I left the decision to the waiter. He choose Fettuccine Verdi. So when he repeated my order, he said "Fettuccine Verdi Marinara Verdi". That was like a double verdi meal and I thought we could just factorize to shorten the name to Verdi² (Fettuccinne Marinara). Mathematically we could do that.

Some green pasta cooked with seafood. I thought the seafood (prawns, mussel, scallop, calamari) was good. Cream based pasta and the thing I love about this is the pasta itself. Has a hint of pandan flavour.

Pizza - Carnivora

The pizza is a thin base pizza topped with beef bacon, ham, onions and pineapples. It has ample cheese and I thought it tasted great. Pretty good stuff.

The soup of the day on the other hand is an disapointment.

The soup was basically campbell's soup with extra mushroom that has gone wrong. It was diluted and oily. I belive I can make better ones. :) I prefer the ones at Ingolf Kneipe where they serve the absolute best mushroom soup.

Overall the place serves pretty good food at a price range of RM20++. The food was serve rather fast for a super packed restaurant. If it was not for the super packed and faulty airconditioning, this place would be good for a date. It was a good date for us. :)

Little Italy is not located in Italy. It's here.
