By unfortunate, I mean quite urgent with ambulance rushing to the scene. It was an accident between a bike and a car. The rider was laying on the floor. I really feel sympathy for him.
Also, it makes me realise that at times in life, more often than not, we only look and count the unfortunate situations we are thrown into. we hardly take some time to count the blessings that we received. We hardly sit down and think how many times did we have luck on our side. The sad thing is, we DO sit down and ponder upon the less fortunate happenings. I believe we should wake everyday and feel lucky that we are awake. Count the countless times that we have been blessed with luck to not have to go through the many pain in the world. Simple things like driving safely and arriving safely at work, the very good food we get to eat, the decent life we live in, etc..
Life does bring us down at times, but as the saying goes, "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance."
